What Makes Us Different
Purpose
People work better when they feel better. The Workday Movement exists to feed life back into people and workplaces.
Mission
Our mission is to deliver yoga-inspired movement that makes a difference.
Values
Well-Being
We encourage movement as a way to energize and empower each other to be present to both work and life.
Authenticity
When we let others see the human in us, it helps them see and embrace the human in them, too. We don’t aim to be perfect. We strive for real, genuine connection.
Inclusion
We strive for language that fosters respect and autonomy in our classes. All people and all bodies are encouraged to join our classes. Come as you are – no stretching or yoga experience necessary.
Meet the Founder
Hi, I’m Kelsey. I’m so grateful you’re here!
To be able to move our bodies is a gift.
I found my way to yoga amidst a major lull in life. Caught in the monotony of my day-to-day, I passed the yoga studio at my gym and thought, “I need to change things up.” Eventually, I left my weight-training ego at the door and tried a yoga class.
I was quickly humbled by the physical challenge of yoga. It was a different type of exertion, though. After class, I’d feel feel accomplished, calm, and energized (rather than exhausted of my energy). Something about the way yoga is structured was noticeably life-giving. As it became an anchor in my weekly routine, I started to notice the mental shifts and how applicable yoga is to life itself. Yoga changed how I face conflict, how I interact with others, and how I feel about myself. It’s taught me the power of the pause and it’s shown me the deep resilience that builds from consciously facing temporary discomfort.
Yoga didn’t just change how I move my body, it changed why I move my body. What once was motivated by looking good was now inspired by feeling good. I hope to bring yoga-inspired movement to your workplace, so that you can see a noticeable difference in how your employees think, feel, and act.
With a strong spine and humble heart,
- Kelsey Greenwood
